JElements is a personal web development research project by Jouni Koivuviita, a product designer at Vaadin. The focus is on how to improve the Vaadin design system and web components, mostly on the theming and styling aspects of them.
No external dependencies are used for the components, utilities, and styles. Here’s a breakdown of the source code contents of this project:
Not recommended for production use I’m mainly looking for feedback from developers, if the problems/issues are valid and if the proposed solutions solve them effectively.
The prototypes only work in modern web browsers.
